CHARLIE CROWLEY -
A blanket-wearing, flower-growing, fell-chasing, fantasy-reading free spirit with a love for slow living, beautiful stories, and creating brands that feel like home.
I'm a brand designer and photographer based in the ever-dramatic and always-evolving rolling Yorkshire hills. Creativity is my lifeline; it is ingrained into everything I do; in every action I take, there is a smidge of creativity embedded.
Outside of designing brands and websites (and snapping really cool photographs for brands), I have two lovely children, and I’m married to an incredible man. If I’m not working, you’ll find me baking, cooking or reading under my duvet.

my experience
I studied Interior Architecture at the University of Huddersfield, where I discovered a love for thoughtful, human-centred design and the power of creating spaces that make people feel something. After four years as an interior designer, I followed my creativity into branding, photography, and art direction, and never looked back.
Now, with over a decade of design experience, I've helped hundreds of photographers, artists, and creative businesses build brands that feel authentic, memorable, and deeply personal. Combining strategy, storytelling, and intentional design, I create work that gives creatives the confidence to be seen and remembered.
Most of the time, I am a one-woman band, but Our Kindred wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for my soulmate, Matt.
Most of the time, I am a one-woman band, but Our Kindred wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for my soulmate, my cheerleader and partner in crime in all things creative. We are inseparable, always connected through our shared passion for creativity. When we're not out creating or chasing after our two boys, you'll find us exploring the Yorkshire countryside together or in the kitchen dancing to Irish folk whilst something cooks away on the stove. Matt's unwavering support - and endless love are what give me the fuel to my creative fire.
