BRAND IDENTITY / CLIENT SPOTLIGHT

A photography brand that lives in the little things.

One of my favourite parts of designing a brand is seeing what happens once it leaves my hands. The identity becomes part of someone’s everyday world, finding its way onto parcels, studio doors and the little things their clients get to take home.

Natasha Gush Photography is such a lovely example of this.

Natasha describes her photography as fine art, natural and unposed, and she’s carried that same sensibility into the experience surrounding her work. Using her palette of Almond Milk and Turkish Coffee, soft typography and tactile details, she’s given her branding a place throughout her studio and client journey.

IN NATASHA’S WORDS

“Every branded piece in my studio is there to extend the experience of a session, not to advertise it.”

I love that thought. It gives every design decision a purpose: how can this help someone feel welcome, comfortable and cared for?

01 / BEFORE THE SESSION

Before they reach the studio

For Natasha’s clients, the experience begins when their welcome pack arrives before their session. It’s something to hold, open and spend a little time with; an introduction to the care they can expect when they meet her.

Everything she posts carries her logo stamp, giving each envelope a personal, hand-finished quality. It’s a small gesture, but one that feels completely at home with the natural, considered character of her photography.

There’s something quite special about receiving a piece of post that someone has taken the time to finish by hand.

02 / THE STUDIO EXPERIENCE

A welcome in every detail

Outside the studio, an A-board helps clients find their way to the door. Inside, branded coasters are ready for cups of tea, while juices from The Cotswold Juicery carry bespoke black-and-white labels with a sketched border and typewriter-style lettering.

Water and juice are served in Natasha’s branded cups, which clients can take away at the end of their session.

These are practical, everyday objects, and that’s what makes their design so meaningful. They belong to the experience: finding the door easily, settling down with a drink, having a moment to feel at ease before stepping in front of the camera.

Together, they give Natasha’s visual identity a warmth and presence that reaches far beyond a screen.

03 / AFTER THE SESSION

Something to keep

That care continues after the session, too. A thank-you envelope arrives with a branded postcard inviting clients to share their experience. Gift vouchers are posted or hand-delivered, making receiving one feel like an occasion in itself.

Natasha describes these pieces as “personal and keepsake-worthy”, and I think that captures her approach beautifully. The earthy colours and soft typography give everything a shared feeling, with enough quietness to let the personal gestures come through.

A brand, made her own.

Natasha has taken her visual identity into the everyday life of her studio. From a stamped envelope to a drink offered before a session, each piece carries the same care she brings to her photographs.

“I want clients to feel cared for at every touchpoint, which is the same feeling I hope they have in their photographs.”
